Vulio is designed with privacy at its core. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over your data.

Audio recording & transcription

When you tap record, audio is captured on your device. To produce a transcript, the audio is securely transmitted for processing by an AI speech-to-text model.

The resulting transcript is stored in your account so you can access, edit, and rewrite it from any of your devices.

AI processing

Transcription and rewriting are powered by AI models and third-party processing services. When you generate a rewrite (Polish, Notes, or Journal), relevant audio or transcript text is securely transmitted for processing in order to provide Vulio's functionality.

• Data may be processed by third-party services according to their own policies and agreements.
• Data is securely transmitted using encrypted connections.
• We do not sell your personal information or recordings to anyone.

Secure storage

Transcripts, rewrites, and account metadata are stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated requests associated with your account.

Account & analytics

We store the minimum information needed to operate your account: an identifier, subscription state, and basic usage metrics like minutes transcribed per month. We may collect limited analytics to help improve app reliability, performance, and functionality.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and associated information at any time from inside the app under Settings. Deletion permanently removes your recordings, transcripts, rewrites, and associated account information from our systems.

Children

Vulio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
